Slap ’N Sip at a bachelorette party
A game that needs no explaining is the best kind for a room of people who met an hour ago.
Why it fits a bachelorette night
Bachelorette groups mix friends from different parts of someone’s life. Most party games ask them to know each other first. Slap ’N Sip asks for one thing: throw a sticky hand faster than the person next to you. By the third round the college friends and the work friends are yelling at the same chip.
Set-up for eight to twelve people
- One long table or the floor, with the Sip Chip exactly in the middle.
- Every guest gets a sticky hand in a different colour so wins are easy to call.
- Keep the deck in front of the bride. She reads every card, whoever wins it.
A bride rule that works
If the bride wins the chip, she does not draw for herself. She picks who takes the card. It turns her wins into the most anticipated moment of the round and keeps her in the middle of the game.
When to stop
Play to a fixed number of chips, then put the game away while everyone still wants more. Twenty minutes before leaving for dinner is about right.
